Seasons Dermatology and Aesthetics is a new, physician-owned dermatology practice opening in Midland, Texas. We provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology in a modern, upscale environment focused on exceptional patient care and outstanding clinical outcomes.
We are seeking a motivated, professional, and patient-centered Medical Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a premier dermatology practice from the ground up while working alongside board-certified dermatologists in a collaborative and supportive setting.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain accurate medical histories
- Document patient encounters through medical scribing
- Assist physicians with medical, surgical, and cosmetic procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and procedure trays
- Obtain clinical photographs as directed
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care
- Schedule appointments, procedures, and follow-up visits
- Manage patient communication through phone, text, and electronic messaging systems
- Assist with prescription management and prior authorizations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked, organized, and prepared for patient care
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required
- Prior experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, aesthetics, or a medical office preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
