Position Overview
As a Guest Service Associate, you will be responsible for creating a positive experience for every guest while supporting the day-to-day operations of the store. This role combines customer service, merchandising, cashier responsibilities, and general store maintenance.
What You'll Do
- Welcome guests and provide prompt, friendly assistance
- Operate the register and accurately process transactions
- Support fuel, lottery, and other store-related services
- Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise displays
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, restrooms, and exterior areas
- Monitor product levels and assist with inventory replenishment
- Promote loyalty programs, specials, and featured products
- Follow company procedures related to cash handling and safety
- Work collaboratively with teammates to achieve store goals
- Assist with additional operational tasks as assigned
What We're Looking For
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check
- Previous retail, hospitality, food service, or customer service experience is helpful but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Reach, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
- Work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Safely use cleaning products and store equipment
