Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Utilize Toast POS systems for order processing and payment transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, take drink orders, and offer recommendations based on preferences.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while following cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or banquets.
- Stay informed about current trends in mixology, including new ingredients and techniques.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a restaurant setting.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales reporting.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus for crafting specialty drinks.
- Experience with catering services is desirable for event-based roles.
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume service periods effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
