Overview
Turf Master Inc / Seasonal Outdoor Supply a Retail Sales & Landscaping Services company in Johnston, RI, is currently has an opening for a full-time Small Engine Repair and Maintenance Mechanic to perform general equipment inspections, maintenance and repairs on landscaping equipment. Should be able to perform a variety of routine preventative maintenance and repairs on trucks, construction equipment (bobcat, backhoe, & excavator) and lawn maintenance machines (mowers, blowers, chainsaws, weed whackers, etc). Welding experience a plus. Experience operating a Bobcat & Loader are a super plus. CDL License a huge plus.
Pay commensurate with abilities and experience. Should have at least 1 year experience repairing and maintaining small equipment. Must have a current valid driver's license. Must be reliable with high work ethics and available if needed on Saturdays.
Our company provides customer sales & services for Landscape Services/ , Dumpster Rentals, from spring thru fall and transitions into snow plowing services , retail/commercial sales of various winter products including ice melt products, plows, and various snow and ice control equipment from Fall thru early Spring!
This position is full-time, 40 hours per week with many facets that require you to be good at multi-tasking and attention to detail. Part-time applicants will be considered!
Applicants should be reliable with good communication skills, a driver's license, and reliable transportation. Landscaping knowledge and skid-steer/loader experience is a big plus. Pay is hourly and will be determined by abilities & skill level. Benefits include health, dental, & disability insurances for full time employees . Bus Stop is within walking distance of our office.
Summary
In this role, you will be essential in managing, maintaining, and repairing everyday equipment needed for landscaping, construction, and plowing/ice control services.. Reporting to the Owner, your expertise will enhance our overall ability to provide customers with the services they need, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering positive relationships. Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
