Responsibilities
- Lead, work with and supervise landscaping crews on various projects and landscape services, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards
- Oversee landscape maintenance activities including cleanups, mulching, trimming trees and shrubs, etc
- Coordinate construction tasks such as site preparation, installation, irrigation system repairs, synthetic lawn turf and putting greens, plus other outdoor improvements
- Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Manage work project budgeted timelines, materials loading, and equipment usage to optimize productivity
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and motivated work atmosphere
- Conduct quality inspections throughout projects to ensure client satisfaction and adherence to specifications
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in landscaping or related outdoor construction
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance, plant identification, planting, irrigation, foliage trimming, hardscapes, and landscape project principles
- Hands-on experience with construction activities including site prep, installation, and outdoor project execution
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively
- Familiarity with equipment operation, safety procedures, and maintenance practices
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
