Seasons Best Painting is a growing, quality-first painting company. We’re looking for a working Crew Lead who can run jobs start-to-finish, keep production moving, and deliver clean, professional results.
The Role (Working Lead)
You’ll lead a small crew on interior/exterior projects, handle jobsite organization and quality control, and communicate clearly with homeowners / business owners and the office. This is a hands-on role: you’re painting too.
Responsibilities
- Lead a crew (typically 2–5 painters) and keep production on track
- Run daily jobsite setup, protection/masking, prep, and cleanup
- Execute high-quality painting: brush/roll/spray (as needed)
- Prep mastery: patching, sanding, caulking, priming, stain blocking, minor drywall repair
- Ensure all surfaces are protected (floors, landscaping, furniture, fixtures, etc.)
- Coordinate materials: confirm what’s needed, track usage, prevent shortages
- Maintain quality control: prevent overspray, runs, bleeding, etc.
- Walk the job with the customer when needed; handle punch lists professionally
- Enforce safety and ladder practices; keep a clean and organized jobsite
- Provide daily updates to the office (progress, photos if requested, issues/needs)
Requirements (Must Have)
- 3 years professional painting experience (interior exterior)
- 1 year leading a crew OR proven ability to run jobs independently
- Strong prep skills (this is non-negotiable)
- Valid driver’s license reliable transportation
- Comfortable with ladders, multi-story work, and outdoor conditions
- Ability to read/work from work orders and hit timelines
- Professional communication and customer-ready attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable (crew follows your standard)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or formal training in painting or a related field.
- Experience with large-scale commercial projects or specialty finishes.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
Pay: $22–$25 per hour, based on experience and skill level.
