The Role:
We're hiring an experienced Dog Groomer to join our tight-knit team. You'll work in a busy, professional environment where quality, safety, and animal welfare always come first. This isn't just a job — it's a chance to do meaningful work with animals and build real relationships with the pet families we serve.
What You'll Do
- Perform full-service grooming: bathing, brushing, drying, clipping, styling, nail trims, and ear cleaning
- Handle all breeds with patience, confidence, and care — especially anxious or reactive dogs
- Assess coat, skin, ears, and eyes and flag any concerns to pet owners or management
- Communicate with clients to understand their preferences and deliver consistent, high-quality results
- Keep your station and shared grooming areas clean, organized, and properly sanitized
- Work collaboratively with daycare and boarding staff to support smooth daily operations
What We're Looking For
- 1 year of professional dog grooming experience (required)
- Confidence handling a wide variety of breeds and temperaments
- Working knowledge of breed-specific cuts and grooming standards
- Calm, patient, and compassionate approach — especially with nervous dogs
- Strong communication skills with pet owners
- Grooming certification or formal training is a plus, but hands-on experience speaks for itself
