What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse position at SEASIDE PEDIATRICS?
Pediatric Practice in Wilmington is seeking a Full Time Nurse.
As a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are a valued resource for our clinical team of providers and support staff. You will provide guidance and leadership to assure our patients receive the best quality care using evidence based guidelines. Work hours Monday, Tuesday, Thurday and Fridays 8:00 to 5:30. This position would have Wednesdays off. The office is open a few Saturdays a year that the clinical staff rotates. The Saturday hours are 8-10am, you may be required to work 2-3 Saturdays a year.
Essential Duties for Nurse
- Manage provider's patient schedule and flow
- Administration of vaccines when needed
- Telephone triage when needed
- Obtain medical history, patient vital signs, intake, and prioritize patient care
- Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, and prepare sterilization tools and equipment as required
Qualifications
- Active nursing license in the State of North Carolina
- Knowledge of medical practice and terminology
- Minimum one year of clinical experience
Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
