Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based on the Treasure Coast, FL, for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). The RBT will work under the supervision of a BCBA to deliver individualized ABA therapy to clients. Key responsibilities include implementing behavioral intervention plans, collecting and recording data on client progress, assisting with activities of daily living, and participating in ongoing training and supervision. The RBT will collaborate with families and team members to support clients in achieving their goals, while maintaining a professional and compassionate approach to care.
Qualifications
- Proficient in implementing behavioral intervention strategies and following treatment plans
- Strong skills in data collection, reporting, and documentation
- Knowledge and application of ABA principles, as well as a commitment to evidence-based practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients, families, and team members
- Ability to maintain professionalism, patience, and empathy during therapy sessions
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to complete RBT training and certification
- Experience working with individuals with Autism or related disabilities is a plus
- Ability to pass a background screening and adhere to client confidentiality guidelines
