Seaside and Company is more than just a flagship boutique; it’s a lifestyle destination. We are looking for a charismatic, knowledgeable Bartender to anchor our in-store bar experience. You won't just be pouring drinks; you’ll be Curating the "Seaside" vibe for our guests as they shop and socialize.
The Ideal Candidate
You are a wine enthusiast with a polished yet approachable personality. You understand that at Seaside and Company, the service is just as important as the selection. You’re comfortable recommending a crisp Sauvignon Blanc to a shopper or discussing tasting notes with a connoisseur. We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Wine Steward to elevate our guests’ dining experience through expert wine service and recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional beverage service with a focus on wine and coastal-inspired refreshments.
- Educate guests on our wine selection, offering pairing suggestions and tasting notes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing bar environment that aligns with our modern coastal design.
- Manage bar inventory and supplies.
- Engage with our community of shoppers to create a welcoming, "home-away-from-home" atmosphere.
- Assist with wine tastings, presentations, and educational events to enhance guest engagement
Requirements
- Strong Wine Knowledge: Must be confident in discussing various varietals and regions.
- Experience: Previous bartending or high-end hospitality experience preferred.
- Vibe: Professional, upbeat, and able to thrive in a boutique retail setting.
- Reliability: Ability to work the following variety of hours.
Day/Hours
Monday – Friday 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturday 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Sunday 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
