As an Ophthalmic Technician at Seashore Eyecare, you will be crucial to our patient care process. Your responsibilities will include obtaining medical records, performing eye exams, reviewing medications and procedures, and gathering essential information for diagnosing patients. The best part? No prior experience in ophthalmology is required! This is a fantastic opportunity to build your clinical hours while contributing to the health and well-being of our community.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review patients' charts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Check vision and intraocular pressure.
- Administer eye drops to patients.
- Assist with medical procedures.
- Play a role in training other technicians.
- Perform diagnostic testing.
- Scribe for the provider.
- Complete additional tasks and duties as assigned.
- Maintain a positive demeanor, high attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Job Types:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, must be available to work the full day, with possible hours between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM.
Salary:
Begin your journey with us at a competitive salary of $17.00 per hour, with the opportunity for pay increases as you progress. Our dedicated team members typically achieve the status of a fully trained technician within a year, earning $20.00 per hour upon completion.
