Key Responsibilities
- Assemble parts and components using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and equipment according to work instructions.
- Follow standardized processes, work orders, and engineering specifications to ensure consistent product quality.
- Perform visual inspections of parts and finished goods to identify defects or deviations.
- Meet daily production targets for quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Communicate issues related to materials, equipment, or processes to the Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S and safety guidelines.
- Use basic computer systems or scanners to record work completed or move inventory, as required.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities such as process improvement discussions.
- Rotate across multiple workstations as required to meet production needs.
- Follow all safety policies, including proper PPE usage, machine guarding, and safe lifting practices.
- Ability to read and understand standard work instructions, diagrams, or basic blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Good hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for entering production data or navigating simple systems (e.g., barcoding, D365/ERP basics).
- Ability to stand, walk, and/or lift up to specified weight amounts for the duration of the shift.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Experience using basic hand tools, mechanical equipment, or measurement devices.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices or continuous improvement systems such as 5S.
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and temperature variations.
- Requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, grasping, and lifting.
- Will require overtime, weekend work, or shift changes based on production needs.
