We’re looking for a Quality Subject Matter Expert (SME) to own and elevate our Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure data excellence across our organization. This is a high-impact role where your expertise will directly improve processes, strengthen compliance, and help drive operational success across our national and global operations.
This position is hybrid remote – work from home three days per week and collaborate onsite at our Suwanee, GA office two days per week.

As our Quality SME, you’ll be the go-to expert ensuring our quality systems, documentation, and processes meet the highest standards and support our long-term growth. In this role, you will:
- Own and manage the QMS and ACD systems – oversee document handling, retention, and data accuracy; set and maintain guidelines for storage and archiving.
- Lead audits and certifications – manage annual ISO and ACD audits, maintain organizational certifications, and coach employees to excel in audit interviews.
- Resolve quality issues – analyze and address customer complaints and recurring issues, creating solutions that drive continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and strengthen vendor/supplier quality – develop and maintain our evaluation system to ensure all external partners meet our standards.
- Raise the bar for warehouse operations – document, train, and implement best practices that improve efficiency across our warehouses and global partners.
- Partner with Operations Account Managers – review non-conformance issues (QOTs and CARs), investigate root causes, and present KPI data and resolutions at management meetings.
- Coordinate compliance training – oversee DOT, IATA, and IMDG training programs, maintain records, and recommend process improvements based on incidents.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (engineering, manufacturing, chemistry) or business preferred
- 5 years of experience in quality management or process engineering preferred
- Experience with chemical manufacturing OR warehouse management processes strongly preferred
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification strongly preferred or in process to complete
