Quality Engineer — Santa Monica

Essential skills
- 3–7 years experience as a quality engineer in the medical device industry
- Hands-on manufacturing quality — incoming inspection, FAI, final product release
- Engineering drawing interpretation and GD&T
- CAPA management from initiation through to closure and verification of effectiveness
- Nonconformance documentation and follow-up
- Supplier quality management including ASL maintenance and SCAR programme
- Working knowledge of FDA QSR / 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485
The following skills would also be beneficial
- Design control experience — document reviews, design outputs, DHF and DMR maintenance
- V&V protocol and report writing
- Risk management file support
- ASQ CQE certification
- Experience supporting internal and external audits
You must be comfortable working independently and taking ownership of quality processes without significant hand-holding, while also being a collaborative member of a small engineering team. Salary : $150,000 - $155,000
