About the Role: As a Therapist/Counselor at Search Inc., you will facilitate both group and individual therapy to individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities across Supported Living Programs and be part of a supportive interdisciplinary team. This role reports directly to the Division Manager of Behavioral Health.
Free clinical supervision may be provided to qualified candidates.
We are currently looking to hire for a full-time Therapist in our Clinical Services Program.
Location: Mount Prospect, IL
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide clients with supportive counseling, conflict resolution, and problem-solving assistance,
- Ensure therapy services specified in the treatment plan are being provided,
- Document all client encounters and progress on treatment goals in the database system according to DHS regulations and agency policy,
- Facilitate individual and group therapy, as required,
- Maintain enrollment as a Medicaid Provider and abide by Medicaid regulations,
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a related field,
- • Must have one of the following credentials with a current Illinois license:
- LCPC, LCSW, LCP, LPC, LSW, LMFT,
- • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
