Manager, Training & Talent Acquisition

Position Summary
Search Solution Group is seeking a high-impact leader to build, train, and develop the next generation of top-performing recruiters and sales professionals.
This individual will own training, onboarding, and ongoing development across the organization while also leading internal Talent Acquisition efforts to ensure we are consistently hiring high-caliber individuals who align with SSG’s standards of excellence.
This is a critical, culture-shaping role responsible for driving performance, accountability, and consistency across the team. The right person thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and knows how to turn potential into production.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Onboarding
- Design and lead a structured onboarding program for all new recruiters and sales hires
- Train team members on:
- Full lifecycle recruiting
- Business development and client acquisition
- Candidate control and client management
- SSG processes, tools (HubSpot, LinkedIn Recruiter), and workflows
- Implement clear ramp-up timelines and performance benchmarks
Ongoing Development & Coaching
- Provide daily/weekly coaching to recruiters and sales team members
- Run call reviews, role plays, and live coaching sessions
- Identify performance gaps and implement targeted development plans
- Establish and reinforce SSG’s standards of excellence across the team
- Partner with leadership on performance strategy
Talent Acquisition (Internal Hiring)
- Own internal recruiting efforts for SSG:
- Recruit and hire recruiters, sales professionals, and support staff
- Build pipelines of high-potential talent
- Ensure strong candidate experience and employer branding
- Develop interview processes that assess:
- Grit, competitiveness, and coachability
- Cultural alignment with SSG’s “this is how we win” mentality
Performance & Culture
- Drive a culture of discipline over motivation — consistency, accountability, and execution
- Track and report on key performance metrics (activity, placements, revenue contribution)
- Collaborate on compensation plans, scorecards, and performance reviews
- Help build a scalable, repeatable training infrastructure that supports company growth
Qualifications
Required
- 5 years of experience in recruiting, sales, or talent development
- Proven success in a performance-driven, metrics-based environment
- Experience training, coaching, or managing recruiters and/or sales professionals
- Strong understanding of recruiting lifecycle and/or B2B sales process
Preferred
- Experience in agency recruiting or search firms
- Experience building training programs from scratch
- Leadership or management experience
