HR Business Partner / HR Generalist

Location: Monroe, NC (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract – Initial 60 Days, with Potential to Extend

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on HR Business Partner / HR Generalist to support a growing organization during an exciting period of transition. This individual will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, partnering with business leaders, and helping develop and improve HR processes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

The ideal candidate is a flexible, solutions-oriented HR professional who enjoys variety, works well independently, and is comfortable stepping in wherever support is needed. Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and managers across multiple functions.
• Partner with business leaders on general HR initiatives, employee needs, and organizational priorities.
• Support a broad range of HR activities, including onboarding, offboarding, performance management, benefits, leave administration, and HR policies and procedures.
• Help develop, document, and improve HR processes, workflows, and internal practices.
• Support organizational changes and evolving business needs while maintaining effective HR operations.
• Assist with HR projects and special initiatives as priorities arise.
• Support both corporate and hourly employee populations as needed.
• Collaborate with existing HR team members to ensure consistent communication and effective HR support.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Previous experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or in a similar broad-based HR role.
• Working knowledge of multiple HR functions and day-to-day HR operations.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing responsibilities, and adapt to changing business needs.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working in an environment where processes and infrastructure are still evolving.
• Manufacturing, production, or hourly workforce experience is highly preferred.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to take ownership and support a variety of initiatives.
