Compensation Manager

Search Solution Group is seeking a Compensation Manager on behalf of our client, a farm and livestock retail company.

The Compensation Manager will lead the development and execution of the organization's compensation strategy. This role reports directly to the CHRO and offers the opportunity to build and modernize compensation programs, establish best practices, and serve as a strategic business partner.

• Develop and implement the organization's compensation philosophy and long-term compensation strategy.
• Evaluate and redesign salary structures, pay ranges, midpoint analysis, and compensation ratios.
• Conduct market pricing and benchmarking using compensation survey tools.
• Analyze internal and external compensation data to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
• Partner with HR leadership and business leaders to provide strategic compensation guidance.
• Review and recommend compensation adjustments, promotions, and organizational changes.
• Support annual compensation planning, merit increases, and incentive programs.
• Maintain compensation policies, procedures, and governance to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Utilize UKG and other HR systems to manage compensation data and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve compensation processes and build scalable programs to support future growth.
• Collaborate with the CHRO on Total Rewards initiatives and organizational transformation efforts.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
• Master's degree or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is a plus.

• Progressive experience in compensation or Total Rewards, preferably in a retail or multi-site environment.
• Experience developing or rebuilding compensation programs and salary structures.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership on strategic compensation initiatives.
• Experience using UKG and compensation survey platforms such as PayFactors preferred.
• Leadership experience within Compensation or Total Rewards is highly preferred.
