ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a long-term, onsite contract opportunity based in Houston for an experienced Endur Functional Business Analyst. The role focuses on supporting power and gas trading operations, with a strong emphasis on trade lifecycle processes, risk management, and leveraging the Openlink Endur ETRM platform to deliver business-critical solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a functional subject matter expert for Endur within power and gas trading environments
- Analyze and support trade lifecycle workflows including deal capture risk and reporting
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into system solutions
- Support risk management functions and ensure accurate reporting and analytics
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consulting environment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst in the energy trading domain
- Strong expertise in power and gas trading with a focus on risk management
- Hands-on experience with Openlink Endur ETRM platform
- Deep understanding of MTM P&L and P&L Attribution Exposure and Stress Testing VaR Credit Risk and Risk Limits Options Hedging Derivatives and Monte Carlo simulations
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and attention to detail skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic consulting environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance Business Computer Science or a related field
