Position Summary
OUR CLIENT is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join its Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Service Line. This is a clinical-only role (no teaching or research) with no call responsibilities, offering a structured and supportive environment within a nationally recognized academic health system.
The PMHNP will provide outpatient psychiatric care for adults (ages 18 ) at the Hershey Location and affiliated sites, including telehealth services as needed. The provider will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health professionals and work both independently and alongside physicians.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and perform medication management
- Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions
- Generate medical orders and coordinate referrals to community resources
- Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, therapists, and support staff
- Maintain continuity of care in an outpatient and telepsychiatry setting
- Practice within the prescriptive authority and scope set by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing and the Medical Staff Executive
- Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Pennsylvania licensure as a CRNP (must be active to begin employment)
- At least 1 year of post-PMHNP certification clinical experience (new graduates will not be considered)
- 1–3 years of experience working with chronically mentally ill adult patients
- Demonstrated ability to manage a wide range of psychiatric diagnoses and complex medication regimens
- Nurse Practitioners only – PAs will not be considered for this role

Salary : $130,000 - $165,000
