Role Summary

SEARCH is looking for a technical individual with creative problem-solving skills and experience working with AutoCAD. Prospective candidates will be working with and taking guidance from industry professionals on a daily basis. Applicants should be familiar with AutoCAD and have experience in site development (Civil 3D), including alignments, grading, pipe networks, and surfaces. Candidates should also have experience producing plan sets for civil projects.

This full-time position will be based out of SEARCH’s Norman office, Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, and on the road as individual jobs require. Hourly wage ranges from $23 to $28 per hour and is based on job-related skills, knowledge, and industry experience. The role is eligible for a discretionary, company-performance-based bonus in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.

This role will require the ability to work outside in the field on occasion. General labor and construction site visits may be required. Site visits may include construction observation, field sampling, instrument installation, data collection, use of GNSS and other field equipment. Applicants should be resilient individuals with the ability to work effectively in Oklahoma's variable weather conditions. Overnight travel may be required, depending on the job location. Per diem is available for overnight travel. On very minor occasions, extended hours may be required for tasks such as 24-hour composite sampling.

Applicants can expect, on average, an 80/20 split between office and field duties, depending on the specific job requirements. Applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at elevation and in confined spaces as needed.

Training and Certification Opportunities

SEARCH supports ongoing development for its employees, including training in AutoCAD, OSHA 10, Confined Space, and other areas as deemed appropriate by management.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Preparation of engineering plans, maps, diagrams, and schematics with the use of AutoCAD Civil3D

· Work with and take direction from supervisors and engineers

· Conduct oneself in a professional manner

· Site construction visits

· Water, wastewater, and soil sampling

Fundamental Skills

· AutoCAD Civil 3D

Qualifications

· AutoCAD technical certification or degree

· 5 years minimum experience with AutoCAD in a professional setting

· High School Diploma

· Valid Driver’s License

· Clean driving record for the past 5 years

· Pass drug testing

· Pass a standard employment background check
