Senior Accountant – Dallas | 2 Days Remote | No Overtime
Position Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team in a newly created position. This role will report directly to the Director of Finance and take primary responsibility for the financial statements and general accounting for a multi-entity organization.

Responsibilities
- Assist with the monthly accounting and financial reporting
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information
- Work closely with the Director of Finance on accounting and reporting matters
- Support year-end close, audits and other reporting requirements
- Assist with financial analysis and special projects
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong general accounting and financial reporting experience
- Experience preparing monthly financial statements and managing general ledger accounting
- Solid financial acumen and strong analytical skills
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of responsibilities
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- QuickBooks experience is preferred
