Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service for all shipping, mailing, and retail inquiries
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions and handle cash or card payments
• Assist customers with product demos, upselling services, and recommending shipping options to maximize satisfaction and store revenue
• Manage stock levels by merchandising products, stocking shelves, and maintaining organized displays
• Conduct retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and transaction totals with precision
• Ensure phone etiquette is professional when answering inquiries or providing information over the phone
• Support supervising staff by overseeing daily store operations, including supervising team members when needed
• Perform basic cashiering duties such as cash handling and balancing registers at the end of shifts
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment to create an inviting shopping experience
• Engage in product demos to educate customers about available services and new merchandise offerings

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems and retail sales transactions
• Supervising experience or leadership skills to oversee daily store activities effectively
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for pricing, discounts, and transactions
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities and phone etiquette
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus for serving diverse customer needs
• Experience with upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and inventory management practices
• Retail sales experience in environments such as grocery stores or other retail outlets is highly valued
• Familiarity with cashiering procedures including cash handling and balancing registers
• Ability to demonstrate products confidently through demos or presentations
