COMPENSATION: $71,000 – $92,000 annually, commensurate with experience

SUMMARY
The Lighting Designer plays a key role within the studio, contributing to the delivery of high-quality lighting design work while supporting project performance, collaboration, and client relationships.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support concept, schematic, and design development phases
- Produce lighting plans, layouts, and technical documentation
- Create renderings and visual materials to communicate design intent
- Perform photometric calculations and assist with analysis
- Prepare fixture schedules and specification packages
- Coordinate with internal teams and consultants under guidance
- Participate in meetings, site visits, and field verification
- Maintain organized project files and documentation
- Assist with construction administration tasks as directed
- Contribute to internal design discussions and reviews

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with AGi32 or DIALux preferred.
- Strong graphic, visualization, and organizational skills.
- Foundational understanding of lighting design principles and construction documentation.
