Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work as part of a team on diverse job sites.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of job sites, including loading and unloading materials.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks accurately.
- Perform general labor duties such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in excavating/grading construction is much preferred but will train right person
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques in the construction field.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a must.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
- Must be willing to work when needed (at least until 5:00pm as well as Saturdays)
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
