Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and implement Individual Program Plans (IPPs) and person-centered goals.Facilitate daily activities, skills training, community integration, and social engagement opportunities.Provide direct care and supervision, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of participants at all times.Document daily progress notes, incident reports, and data required for compliance.Communicate effectively with participants, families, care teams, and interdisciplinary professionals.Assist with behavior support strategies using positive behavioral supports.Support participants with daily living skills, communication, personal care, and mobility as needed.Model professionalism, teamwork, and respect in all interactions.Follow all state regulations, program protocols, and reporting requirements. Required QualificationsDSP 1 and DSP 2 Certifications (California Direct Support Professional Training).Experience working in an Adult Day Program or Adult Day Care setting.Minimum 1 year of experience supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.Ability to follow individualized support plans and provide person-centered care.Ability to pass a background check, TB test, and other state-required clearances.Company DescriptionDe Vore Recruiting is a boutique staffing firm.
