What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Facilities Technician position at Seamless FM?
At Seamless FM, our Mobile Facilities Technicians are the backbone of our service delivery. Based out of Los Angeles, you'll travel across a portfolio of client sites providing responsive, high-quality maintenance and repair work. What you'll do
- Travel between multiple client sites across the Greater Los Angeles area to perform scheduled and reactive maintenance
- Carry out repairs across general trades including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting
- Complete work orders efficiently and document all service activity through our mobile platform
- Conduct site walkthroughs and flag maintenance issues proactively
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients, representing Seamless FM professionally
- Coordinate with the dispatch team to manage daily schedules and priorities
What we're looking for
- 3 years of facilities, building maintenance, or multi-trade technician experience
- Hands-on skills across at least two trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
- Comfortable working independently and managing a mobile schedule across multiple sites
- Familiarity with California building codes and safety requirements (Title 24 knowledge a plus)
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
- Strong communication skills and a client-facing, professional demeanor
