We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Sea Mar Community Health Centers is an FQHC that provides a full rangeof medical, dental and behavioral health services to the individualswe serve. Sea Mar Behavioral Health's diverse and quickly expandingprogram is seeking a full-time Therapist for our Puyallup BehavioralHealth site. The Mental Health Therapist provides diagnostic assessments, referralsfor psychiatric services, case management in coordination with otherteams or parties involved in treatment. In addition, the MentalHealth Therapist provides individual counseling, crisis stabilization,suicide risk assessment and treatment plans, and leads groups. Assistance to the Program Manager in program development, policy andprocedure development, compliance with WACs and RCWs, and otheradministrative tasks performed are as directed. The person in this position willbe required to follow other instructions and to perform other dutiesas assigned by their program manager.MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST III - Education and/or Experience: * Must hold a Master's degree from an accredited college oruniversity in psychology, counseling, or social work which includescourse-work in psychological diagnostics. * Four or more years' experience in the field. Must meet criteriaof a Mental Health Professional (MHP). Must hold and maintain anactive Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor License (may bepending for up to 60 days if applied for within 7 days of beingoffered employment) or mental health Associate License (includesMarriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, and ClinicalSocial Worker).LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST - Education and/or Experience: * Must hold and maintain an active Washington State Mental HealthCounselor License, Marriage and Family Therapist License, orIndependent Clinical Social Worker License. * Must hold a Master's degree from an accredited college oruniversity in psychology, counseling, or social work which includescourse-work in psychological diagnostics. * Four or more years of clinical experience in the field. * Responsible for his/her individual continuing education hours andlicensing fees. The Licensed Mental Health provider must possess anactive, approved license from the Washington State Department ofHealth at all times. Must meet criteria of a Mental HealthProfessional (MHP).ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: * Must have and maintain a current TB test. * Minority mental health therapist as required by WAC. * Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hiredate and is required to maintain current BLS CPR throughoutemployment.QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE: * Master's degree from an accredited college or university inpsychology, counseling, or social work which includes coursework inpsychological assessment. * At a minimum should meet WAC requirements for the designation ofMental Health Professional, be licensed or have an associate'slicense. * Experience with evidence-based models of treatment is a plus. * Must be comfortable working with computers, Microsoft Office andother software.Hourly - Hourly Plan, 0.00 USD Hourly What We Offer: Sea Mar offers talented and motivated people the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing community health organization.
