Carina Investments is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team! This position will report to the President of Carina Investments in Wooster, OH.
POSITION SUMMARY
This role will be responsible for providing full-service Human Resources support to the Carina Investments team, Aspen Racquet Club, and Mid-Ohio Aviation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Talent Acquisition – Source, recruit, and screen qualified candidates, coordinate interviews, and assist with the selection and job offer processes.
- Onboarding – Oversee onboarding efforts to help ensure that the new-hire experience is successful and top talent is retained.
- Performance Management - Provide guidance and support to managers and associates to ensure effective performance management is taking place.
- Career Development – Support associates in defining Individual Development Plans for current and future career growth.
- Training - Identify training needs and source and develop training programs that address skill gaps.
- Compliance - Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices.
- Associate Relations - Serve as a trusted advisor to associates and managers, addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Other HR-related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related degree with 5 years related experience. SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
