Position Overview:
We are seeking a temporary part time Dental Hygienist PRN

Duties

• Perform thorough dental cleanings (prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance)
• Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including periodontal charting
• Take and interpret dental radiographs
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and treatment plans
• Assist in co-diagnosis and communicate findings with the dentist
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Eaglesoft software
• Ensure compliance with infection control and OSHA standards
• Provide a comfortable and positive patient experience

Skills

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for efficient documentation and scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology to communicate effectively with the team and patients.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry, including working with children in a compassionate and engaging manner.
• Ability to perform patient care tasks such as taking vital signs, assessing patient needs, and providing clear instructions.
• Familiarity with infection control procedures, sterilization processes, and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing patient education.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8.0 per week
