POSITION SUMMARY
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Technician will be held responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. In order to effectively ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment, the individual in this position will repair or replace defective equipment, perform routine preventive maintenance, diagnose problem(s) and determine steps to correct problem(s), adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments and paint/repair areas as instructed by Maintenance supervisor. In addition, the individual fulfilling the duties and tasks of this role will follow checklist to inspect drives, motors and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions. It is the responsibility of the Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Technician to assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing machinery/equipment, and any other related responsibilities. Additionally, the person fulfilling the duties of this position is expected to demonstrate a team player’s attitude at all times. Good communication skills and teamwork are necessary in this exciting, fast-paced environment. The position requires a 40-hour work week Monday through Friday. Overtime opportunities are frequently available.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School diploma/GED;
Technical certificate is desirable;
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Minimum three (3) years of maintenance experience
PLC troubleshooting preferred
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
Ability cooperate and communicate effectively
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent work ethic and dependability.
Strong attributes in terms of dependability and personal flexibility regarding job commitment and punctuality
Ability to follow and execute instructions properly
Physically capable to work standing eight hours per day
Physically able to work an eight (8) hour day;
Ability to perform with minimal supervision or without supervision;
Physically able to lift raw material and finished products under 50 pounds;
Salary : $58,000 - $63,000
