Position Overview:
Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, provides Cyber Security services and cutting-edge technologies to the Federal Government. SealingTech is seeking a Logistics and Receiving / Integration tech who enjoys working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and takes pride in supporting innovative technology solutions. As the logistics and receiving clerk, this position is responsible for assisting with logistics and receiving for the SHOP program, as well as inventory associated with the production of Sealing Technologies CFLAK (Cyber Fly Away Kits) and other products. Duties include receiving materials, organizing and tracking inventory, prepping shipments, barcoding GFE (Government Furnished Equipment) and other logistical services. This position is located at the Enterprise Modernization Center in Stevensville, MD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and signing for deliveries.
- Compare project list of materials and packing lists.
- Inspect deliveries to ensure they match order criteria and specifications.
- Track and record inventory and deliveries.
- Barcode and manage GFE (Government Furnished Equipment).
- Update inventory management system with received items.
- Assist with managing inventory database.
- Putting away and organizing inventory.
- Assisting with inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Coordinate outgoing shipments.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed.
- Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas.
- Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc.
- Coordinates with team members to identify faulty parts to be returned to manufacturer.
- Assist warehouse technicians and other team members when needed to meet deadlines.
- Driving the company van for local deliveries and pickups.
- Other duties as assigned.
