Manufacturing Quality Assurance Engineer

About this role: The Quality Engineer will will support quality assurance activities related to process compliance and product conformance to requirements in multiple process areas across office and manufacturing workspaces

Key Responsibilities

• Support Process Owners in assigned areas to develop, implement, document, and maintain effective and efficient manufacturing and process controls to ensure product conformance to internal, customer and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to Procedures, Work Instructions, and other process documentation to ensure adequacy and accuracy of the instructions.
• Provide support and direction in the development of inspection plans and determination of inspection and test equipment needs as related to product acceptance.
• Recommend changes to established procedures or work instructions as needed to increase effectiveness.
• Provide support in assessing and acting on performance when needed.
• Work collaboratively with process owners to develop, improve and refine processes. Assess effectiveness of changes.
• Support and contribute to investigations of nonconformances found internally and reported by customers. Take actions to assess extent of the problem and contribute to remedial actions.
• Monitor nonconformance trends to identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Interact with other departments, customers, and suppliers as necessary for effective solutions to identified problems, corrective actions, and follow up activities.
• Request and administer Supplier Corrective Actions as necessary to support problem resolution.
• Schedule and participate in internal audits and lead audit results meetings relative to assigned areas.
• Participate in external/recertification audits.
• Any other task/activity assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the quality management system and Company needs.
  
  

What You’ll Need To Succeed

Quality Assurance Engineer Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a decision-making Quality role
  
  

Salary ranges for this position are determined based upon the job location and can be adjusted based upon experience, reflecting our commitment to valuing the expertise and contributions of our individual team members. Salary range for this role is $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 on an annual basis.
