- Perform Process Audits in Plant Manufacturing Departments.
- Inspections to be completed based upon directed risk approach and manufacturing performance.
- Responsible for executing Dispositions, consulting with QA and Op supervisor where required, Impound material per requirements.
- Perform audits of finished product from the Manufacturing Departments for conformance of quality requirements.
- Assist in the training of new employees and refresher training of current staff.
- Assist in the investigation of customer complaints to resolve issues pertaining to quality and to satisfy customer needs.
- Audit the quality process to ensure conformance to established quality-related procedures.
- Complete all paperwork, reports, and filing associated with the performance of the role to affirm that audit and test results are accurately documented, organized, and filed.
- Ability to train for and conduct internal ISO and food safety audits and support external audits as needed.
- Participate in our Continuous Improvement program including the support of six sigma and defect improvement teams throughout the plant.
- Maintain retain process and log into the database
- Approval of medical clean process
- Serve as back up to other Quality positions during times of vacations, illness, etc.
- Proactively communicate issues or concerns with QA Lead and QA Supervisor
- Minimum one year experience in manufacturing quality
- Detailed oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Must have a demonstrated knowledge and use of Microsoft Office software including Word, Power Point, Teams, Excel and SAP
- Effective and collaborative skills to work with production teams
- On-the-floor leader who guides production teams regarding customer quality demands.
