Our growing company is looking for an entry-level Manufacturing Helper to join our team!
As a Manufacturing Helper you will assist Machine Operators on production equipment with anemphasis on safety and quality. As a member of the team, you will receive the training andexperience needed to advance to the role of Machine Operator.
Schedule: 1st shift (8:00am to 4:00pm)
Pay rate: $18.00/hr
- Assist in the safe operation of production equipment to produce quality products byadjusting machine controls for speed, temperature, pressure, etc.
- Understands and adheres to all safety rules and procedures.
- Produce orders on time to satisfy customer needs and production requirements.
- Perform product labeling, packing, wrapping and helping to supply line for production.
- Assists with all required quality inspections, testing, and production documentation.
- Comply with company standards regarding housekeeping and 6S on machines andsurrounding areas.
- Helps perform routine preventative maintenance and assists maintenance personnel asneeded on machine related issues.
- Other duties as assigned by plant leadership, production leads, or shift leads.
- Extrusion experience
- College-level courses or trade school preferred, but not necessary.
- Ability to operate hoists, pallet jacks, and other related equipment.
- Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
- Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 40lbs.
- Eye/hand coordination.
