Sealed Air is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support customers throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
This is a field-based position with a home office. When not traveling to customer sites, you'll work remotely from your home office managing your schedule, completing service documentation, and preparing for customer visits. Alexandria, MN serves as the central location for the territory, so the selected candidate must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Alexandria area.
We welcome applicants from outside Alexandria and outside Minnesota who are willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain packaging equipment at customer facilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
- Install and commission packaging equipment
- Train and support customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and sanitation
- Respond to customer breakdowns and prioritize urgent service needs
- Manage a regional customer territory independently
- Build strong customer relationships through regular site visits
- Identify product, service, and equipment upgrade opportunities
- Support sales initiatives and new product introductions
- Complete service reports and customer documentation accurately and on time
- Adjust schedules and priorities as customer needs change
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
- Industrial equipment maintenance and troubleshooting experience
- Preventive maintenance experience
- Ability to use common hand and power tools
- Experience with packaging, manufacturing, food processing, or industrial equipment is preferred
- Professional and customer-friendly attitude
- Comfortable training, supporting, and advising customers
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to identify upsell and growth opportunities within customer accounts
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Highly organized
- Strong time management skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable managing a territory and travel schedule
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Ability to travel throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota
- Technical school or related training is a plus
- Previous field service, maintenance, manufacturing, packaging, or food processing experience preferred

The range disclosed complies with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Offers within this range will be determined by considering relevant factors including education, experience, and internal alignment.
