What are the responsibilities and job description for the Printing Operator position at Sealed Air Corporation?
Position Summary
Responsible for setting up and running 10 color quick-changeover flexographic printing presses and producing a quality product according to department procedures and standards. Works safely and follows all department and plant safety rules.
Pay rate: $20.10
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Performs pre-setup checks to ensure orders are prepared to outlined specifications.
Sets-up machine according to department procedures and perform all required quality checks.
Makes necessary adjustments to the machine while in production, perform quality checks
required while in production, and help with other job task required to keep machine in production.
Keeps up with incoming raw materials and material produced on machine.
Completes all required department paperwork.
Troubleshoots printing issues and escalates to department management in a timely manner.
Ensures that housekeeping on press and surrounding areas are clean and WPO standards are followed.
Notifies maintenance and department management of all repairs needed on equipment.
Working alongside other departments to ensure accuracy and product deliverance
Assist with any needing maintenance repairs and report non- function equipment.
Experience and Qualifications
Education:
Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience
Computer knowledge; 1-2 years of windows applications experience.
Other Requirements:
Ability to use various quality equipment tools such as; microscope, micrometer, and tape measure.
Radiation certification preferred.
