Pay Rate: $22.00
Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM , rotating shift
Role Purpose:
Perform a variety of duties involved in packing bags for shipment to customers, load trucks for outbound shipments, and perform required paperwork in order to ship products to customers per shipping requirements.
Principal Accountabilities:
Pack plastic bag products according to customers’ shipping specifications in order to satisfy customers’ shipping requirements.
Safely operate industrial equipment such as hand cart, powered forklift and stand up lift.
Prepare shipping labels, weigh, and wrap products in order to ship correctly to customers’ sites.
Log shipment information into computer and mail paperwork to billing department in order to document shipped products.
Unload trucks of bags, materials, supplies, etc. and verify inbound materials for accuracy or damage to ensure accountability of received materials.
Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or directed by the Shift Supervisor.
Provide support services to other departments as needed.
Qualifications
Basic math skills required
Tow motor experience
Computer literate
Follow 6S standards and Standard Work Practices
Demonstrate flexibility toward dynamic work environment
High school diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated good attendance in current role
