Job Description

As a Flexographic Process Engineer, you will provide technical expertise in the development, optimization, standardization, and continuous improvement of flexographic printing processes across manufacturing operations. You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Technology, and Commercial teams to improve print quality, increase productivity, reduce waste, and support new product and process introductions.You will serve as a technical resource throughout equipment deployment, from application requirements and site preparation through installation, qualification, training, and production start-up.

• Provide technical expertise for flexographic printing processes, equipment, inks, plates, anilox rolls, and related converting operations within manufacturing facilities.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Product Development, and Commercial teams to develop and implement robust flexographic printing solutions that meet customer and business requirements.
• Coordinate technical activities related to equipment deployment, including site readiness, installation planning, project timing, and production start-up.
• Coordinate Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), equipment qualification, and post-installation validation to ensure systems meet technical and operational requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex printing, equipment, and process issues using structured problem-solving and data-driven methodologies.
• Develop and optimize operating conditions, technical standards, and process parameters for installed flexographic printing equipment.
• Develop technical documentation and deliver Train-the-Trainer activities to enable manufacturing teams to safely and effectively operate and support installed systems.
• Support technical evaluation of new applications and improvement opportunities while ensuring compliance with applicable safety, quality, and manufacturing requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Printing Technology, Equipment Integration, or related technical functions within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of flexographic printing technologies, production printing systems, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with equipment installation, commissioning, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), qualification, and production start-up.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and structured problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage complex technical projects and coordinate activities across Engineering, Operations, Technology, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and integrated manufacturing technologies; project management knowledge or PMP certification is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%, including international travel, as required.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range: $102,600-$176,755

The range disclosed complies with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Offers within this range will be determined by considering relevant factors including education, experience, and internal alignment. This position may also be eligible for annual performance bonuses and other incentive programs.
