Job Description Job Description Shift: Night shift (8:00 pm to 8:00 am) Shift Premium Amount: $2.00 Pay Rate: $30.00 Our growing company is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team! Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform trouble shooting, calibration, and repair of production equipment as needed to always keep lines operational. Performs scheduled preventative maintenance to identify and replace failed components such as bearings, belts, motors, etc. Can read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, schematics, blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance. Dismantles/disassembles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts, using specifications and/or blueprints, precision measuring instruments, and hand tools. Calibrations and adjustments on various types of devices and production control systems. Understands facilities, mechanical/electrical systems and their component functions and relationships; and is competent in their troubleshooting and repair Assist other maintenance and production team members as required in support of plant goals. Demonstrated proficiency or documented certifications in at least 8/10 of the following skills: electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting/programming, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyers, hydraulics, and pumps. Installation, troubleshooting, repair knowledge of electrical systems including 480v and below Demonstrated proficiency or documented certifications for diagnosing & troubleshooting 24V controls systems and devices Able to interface and cooperate well with production line workers and supervisors, with a strong customer service mindset. Demonstrated ability to identify areas of improvement driving efficiency, profitability, or safety improvements. Basic math, reading, and computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel, Outlook) Manufacturing safety program familiarity (PPE, LOTO, Arc Flash) Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking. Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team. Ability to operate cranes, forklift, and other related equipment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with plastic production equipment a plus. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, and bending. Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 50lbs. Eye/hand coordination.
