Medical Billing Supervisor
Schedule
Full-Time M-F 8-5 *
*Due to the nature of this position, overtime is likely.
Job Summary
Our Billing Supervisor will work closely with our Business Office Manager. They will be responsible for all of the following :
- Support the day-to-day operation of the billing department.
- Manage attendance, discipline, and performance of associates in the department.
- Identify and resolve billing problems.
- Maintain and revise billing policies and procedures.
- Act as liaison between billing associates, business office manager and all other departments.
- Work on and assign billing projects.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certifications
- CPC Required
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
- Experience in medical billing and coding in a primary care practice
- Experience in management
- Proven interpersonal, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with EHR, medical billing and coding software and developing policies and procedures
