Position Title: QA Inspector
Reports To: Quality Manager
FLSA Status: Non‐Exempt | Full-Time
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support our Quality team. This role is ideal for someone with basic exposure to Quality Assurance concepts who is eager to learn and grow within a structured manufacturing and quality environment. While not all quality tools and standards are required at hire, the successful candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a quality-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Quality Assurance activities in support of company and customer requirements
- Support documentation and processing of:
- Certificates of Conformance (CoC)
- Calibration records
- Non‐conformance reports
- Corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), including 8D when applicable
- Participating in first article inspections and final inspections
- Assist with internal audits and preparation for external/customer audits
- Maintain organized quality records and inspection data
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders via email and in person
- Apply basic problem-solving techniques to support quality improvements
- Follow all company quality procedures, safety policies, and ISO/compliance requirements
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding or exposure to Quality Assurance principles (education, internship, or work experience) within a manufacturing setting or industry
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Basic computer skills (email, data entry, document management)
- Ability to communicate professionally, both written and verbal
- Willingness to learn quality tools, standards, and inspection methods
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Bilingual-Spanish
Preferred (Not Required)
- Exposure to one or more of the following:
- ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 quality systems
- Internal audits or customer/third‐party audits
- Manufacturing or regulated industry environments
- Previous experience with inspections or quality documentation
Training & Development
We are willing to train the right candidate. This position offers hands-on learning in quality systems, inspections, audits, and continuous improvement processes.
