Location: Oahu, HI
Status: Full-Time, On-Site (ALL APPLICANTS MUST RESIDE ON OAHU)
Pay: $52,000 - $60,000 per year

The Role
Seal Masters of Hawaiʻi and Elite Construction Services are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing and business development efforts.
The majority of this role will be dedicated to social media management and content creation. The ideal candidate enjoys visual storytelling and has experience producing engaging photo, video, and graphic content from concept through publication. We are looking for someone who can not only execute marketing initiatives but also help conceptualize and develop original content ideas, campaigns, and storytelling opportunities that showcase our projects, people, company culture, and industry expertise.
This role will focus on capturing and editing high-quality photos and videos at job sites, creating engaging social media content, scheduling posts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, and creating graphic designs in Canva for marketing campaigns, company events, and external communications. Additional responsibilities include supporting marketing campaigns, creating marketing collateral, assisting with internal and external company events, and maintaining brand consistency across all marketing channels.
Key Marketing Responsibilities
Content Creation & Production
- Conceptualize and develop original content ideas, campaigns, and storytelling opportunities.
- Plan and direct content shoots, including shot lists and production schedules.
- Capture high-quality photos and videos at job sites, events, and company functions.
- Edit and produce content for social media platforms.
- Execute content edits based on creative direction provided.
- Prepare finalized assets for posting and marketing campaigns.
- Organize and maintain content libraries and marketing assets.
Social Media Management
- Own day-to-day social media execution across company platforms.
- Write captions, schedule content, and maintain publishing calendars.
- Manage posting cadence and scheduling tools such as AgoraPulse.
- Monitor engagement and track basic performance metrics.
- Stay current on social media trends and best practices.
Graphic Design, Marketing & Event Support
- Design graphics and marketing materials in Canva.
- Support newsletters, marketing campaigns, and company events.
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials.
- Assist with website updates and marketing collateral as needed.
- Collaborate with the Director of Business Development and Communications & Events Coordinator on marketing initiatives and event support.

Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized with strong prioritization skills.

Technical Skills & Creative Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Canva is required.
- Experience using CapCut, Edits by Instagram, or similar video editing software is required.
- Comfortable operating professional camera equipment and DJI Pocket cameras for photo and video capture.
- Ability to edit and produce engaging photo and video content for social media platforms.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and current social media trends.
- Experience planning content shoots and developing shot lists.
- Ability to contribute original ideas and assist in the development of social media campaigns.
- Basic understanding of social media campaign planning, content strategy, and audience engagement.
- Strong visual eye for branding, composition, storytelling, and content organization.
- Experience with Adobe Lightroom is preferred.
- Familiarity with Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, and general file organization workflows.
- Portfolio, social media accounts, or examples of previous content creation work must be submitted with application.
- Experience with AI platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, etc. is preferred.
