Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Biller to join our team. This full-time, on-site (hybrid option) role is located in Burien, WA. The Medical Biller will manage full cycle billing operations from claim creation to payment. Specifically, the Medical Biller will mostly handle denied claims, review outstanding claims and work with families to address billing questions or concerns. This individual will ensure accuracy and compliance in medical billing practices to support the clinic's financial efficiency.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Pediatric Medical Terminology to accurately interpret and process medical information
- Experience handling Denials and resolving claims issues efficiently
- Familiarity with working with Insurance companies, pediatric billing processes and medicaid processes.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills
- Ability to work on-site in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Vaccines For Children and Washington Vaccine Association is a plus.
- Familiarity with Athenahealth EHR is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in medical billing or coding is preferred
