Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Nutanix AHV-based virtualization environments.
- Lead infrastructure modernization and migration projects from legacy platforms to Nutanix.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect solutions aligned with business and compliance requirements.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive improvements.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for provisioning, patching, and configuration management.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies are in place and tested.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on Nutanix-related initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure roles.
- 2 years of hands-on experience with Nutanix AHV in production environments.
- Strong understanding of virtualization, storage, and networking concepts.
- Experience with Nutanix Prism, Flow, Files and other ecosystem tools.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and automation tools.
- Familiarity with backup and DR solutions (e.g., Cohesity, Commvault).
- Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
