Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
Purpose of Job:
As an Electrical Engineer, your purpose is to apply your expertise in electrical systems and components to design, develop, and innovate solutions that address complex challenges and drive technological advancement. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create innovative products, or system projects that meet or exceed industry standards and client requirements. Your primary objective is to leverage your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to design efficient, reliable, and sustainable electrical systems that contribute to the improvement of our products.
Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards:
1) Develop electrical system designs, including schematics, circuit diagrams, and layout plans.
2) Prototype and test electrical systems and components to verify functionality, performance, and compliance with standards and regulations.
3) Investigate and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems during design, development, testing, and production phases.
4) Maintain technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and manuals, for electrical designs and systems.
5) Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation in electrical design and development processes.
6) Adaptability is essential in this role, as the dynamic nature of our business may require flexibility in day-to-day job assignments and responsibilities.
Work Environment: The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. May be requested to work overtime and weekends for special projects.
Education: B.S. Electrical and Electronic Engineering (or similar)
Experience:
- 1 - 2 years of experience programming in C/C and Python
- 1 - 2 years of experience soldering
- 1 - 2 years of experience using a DMM and oscilloscope
- 1 - 2 years of experience in PCB design using KiCad, Altium or similar
- Python: 1 year (Required)
- C : 1 year (Preferred)
- Electrical design: 1 year (Preferred)
- Basic Microsoft Office experience
