MAIN FUNCTION:
- To develop, maintain and advance referral relationships with those agencies and people who could refer clients to Seafield in order to maintain a full census throughout our system.
- User role(s) information systems access as assigned, where applicable
- This position is classified as Non-Essential for purposes of emergency closures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain a database of contacts for the Provider Relations Department;
- Seek out and develop new opportunities to enhance outreach to professionals and the community.
- Develop training and education opportunities to increase Seafield visibility in the region.
- Manage and maintain existing referral accounts throughout the region.
- Conduct face-to-face visits with both established and new business accounts daily.
- Follow up on all admissions to Seafield Center by contacting referral sources and serve as a liaison between the referral source and Seafield.
- Coordinate and attend conferences, in-services, health fairs, and other venues for the purpose of networking with referral source contacts for the purpose of promoting Seafield’s services.
- Attend EAPA and other professional membership organizations regularly.
- Arrange and conduct tours of Seafield Center and Seafield Services sites with referral source agencies for the purpose of introducing staff members and the services Seafield provides.
- Participate in weekly conference calls with the Department and attend regularly scheduled marketing meetings.
- Submit expense reports monthly.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Provider Relations.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor level preferred.
- CASAC, Social Work or Mental Health Education preferred.
- Related lived experience considered in LIEU of degree.
- Well organized, initiative-taker with the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with 12 Step Recovery Programs helpful.
- Resides on Long Island
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
