MAIN FUNCTION:
- To be responsible for the direct treatment of an assigned caseload of patients who are addicted to alcohol or any other mind/mood altering substances.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that all clients are treated with dignity and respect.
- Affirming care for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning clients.
- Provide group, individual, and family counseling to caseload.
- Complete assessments, admissions, and treatment plans.
- Maintain documentation and contact with referral sources (EAPs, Criminal Justice).
- Generate and send Referral Progress Reports.
- Participate in weekly case reviews, supervision, and staff meetings.
- Ensure adherence to Seafield’s policies and confidentiality regulations.
- Assist with discharge, transitional planning, and referrals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
- Assessment, referral, and treatment planning
- Group, individual, and family counseling
- Didactic presentation and documentation
- Crisis intervention
- Age-specific skills (Adolescents, Geriatric)
- Knowledge of Medication Assisted Treatment
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
- CASAC or CASAC eligible, or B/S-B/A with working knowledge of substance abuse disorders.
Salary : $22 - $38
