• Able to pass pre-employment physical/TB test

• Obtain fingerprint clearance as required by our licensure

• LVN or RN license

• BLS certification

• Review medical records to assess appropriateness, effectiveness, and timing of treatments, including prospective, concurrent, and retrospective reviews

• Evaluate and revise care plans to ensure optimal patient care and alignment with clinical guidelines and resources

• Coordinate healthcare services by collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and securing insurer authorizations

• Manage healthcare resources by monitoring length of stay, medications, therapies, and diagnostic tests to improve cost-effectiveness

• Work with insurance and billing departments for preauthorization, reimbursement, and appeals of denials

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accurate documentation of all utilization management activities

• Educate patients and families about care plans and healthcare options while providing emotional support and facilitating smooth admissions, discharges, and care conferences
