Seasonal Food Runner/ Busser

Position Summary

We are seeking reliable, energetic, and team-oriented Food Runners/Bussers to join our restaurant team! This role plays an important part in providing an excellent dining experience by ensuring food is delivered to guests promptly and accurately while maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation.

Seasonal Part Time $15.00 per hour plus gratuities

Key Responsibilities

•       Deliver food orders promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests
•       Ensure plates are properly garnished and meet presentation standards before serving
•       Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently between guests
•       Remove used dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables
•       Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and surrounding dining areas
•       Refill water, restock service stations, and provide servers with necessary supplies
•       Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining area before and after service
•       Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service
•       Support servers and kitchen staff during peak hours
•        Respond promptly and courteously to guest needs
•        Maintain the cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
•         Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred (but not required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude and professional appearance
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Must be reliable and punctual

Schedule

• Part Time position
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed

• Ability to interact professionally with guests, team members, and management.

Physical Demands 

• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs. (e.g., kegs, cases, bar supplies)
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching throughout shift.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity for handling glassware, tools, and garnishes. 

Work Environment / Conditions 

• Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, cleaning chemicals, and food allergens
• Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and high energy demands
• Regular interaction with guests and team members 
• Noise levels may be high during peak hours
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
